Content Management Tool
This tool is developed using Content Management Tool, DotNetNuke. All Skins, Models, Container are developed using Microsoft Visual Studio .Net 2005 as User Controls. In content pane, Models for Blog, Special Projects, Alphabetic Search, Series, are developed and installed. Series respective text as well as video is displayed in Text and Video Tabs using Flash Videos. Blog page can be searched by Date and Tag using Blog Extended Menu Model in Right Pane. Advance Search is implemented in Top Search using JavaScript for accurate and specific search. Each lesson’s Question and solution are displayed in the right pane with separate text video tabs. DotNetNuke Site Log table is used to display no of visitors for each page. It created user Control’s using C# and installed as Models in the DotNetNuke Environment.

Also used Data Grid to display tables. This software created and uploaded various skins to the framework using html. created search engine for the web application for normal and advance search. Implemented ajax in dropdown lists, list boxes. implemented cascading style sheets in skins, container and models. Written Stored Procedure in Sql Server 2005. the most important benefit of this tool is ,it is involved in unit testing and bug fixing. The core technology used here is Dotnetnuke web application framework . Associated technologies are c#, asp.net, ado.net,ajax, html,javascript,css. The database in use is sql server 2005. The content management tool is DotNetNuke 4.8.2.

This tool helps to develop a website which can reduce administrative costs and provides members 24 x 7 access to information.

It can help communicate effectively with the users of a particular product or service by posting newsletters, meeting minutes, official documents and forms on website. And also facilitates conducting surveys, publish upcoming events, discuss pressing issues, add photos, and manage bills, post classified ads. User can access the website only after get site admin authorization. So admin can authorize the user to access such type of website. This software a analyzes requirements, prepares the development plans & estimates for the project, understands the whole process of training and related materials. It helps in developing various modules and implementing business logic using asp.net, vb.net. Also creats sql queries and store procedure using ms sql server. This software is developed using DotNet consulting services. The technologies in use are dotnetnuke (cms), asp.net, vb.net. The programming tool is dot net 2005 and database used is ms sql server 2005.

Tour Packages softwares
Tour packages are something which takes care of all the aspects of a tour. Staring from the booking tickets to reservation in hotels to city ride etc. A software is installed in such websites by offshore DotNetNuke programmer in India, where the user can get information about different type of tour packages, hotel booking etc. This tool analyzes requirements, leads to the preparation of development plans & estimates for the project, and facilitates setting up the environment on the target server to deploy the final project war file. All my life I have had a vision of a sanctuary. A place that isolated me from the screeching sounds of get-away cars, the questionable mummers and whispers from hooded men that evaporated off the narrow streets and the shacks that reeked of poverty and dysfunction. All my life I wish I had that sanctuary that protected me from evil that toke my brother you simply call crime, from the sword of destruction that children bow too and adults flaunt, you shrug off guns . And the noose that holds me back from every dream my arms tremor to reach, you pass as “un-education “.

I dream of a place where my mother watches me play from an azure window as the smell of newly splattered paint tickles her nose just to rejoice on her childhood rather than to make sure I am not harmed or approached by some dealer.

I dream of a sea where grass is my island , lilacs are mountains , the ants are my enemies and I am the captain of the ship I call my backyard , to have fun is my duty from a bird sung dawn to a calm gentle dusk.

I dream of four walls smothered in light pink with tiny faces drawn by me .a real doll house just at the corner , not the one I made out of cardboard and marker , but the real one you buy from stores. There’s a wooden desk right under my polka dot curtains, and there I put the books and utensils I got from school, my actual school. And to top it off, it smells like my new cherry shampoo, Of course, because I would shower every day. Those four walls, I could call my room.

I dream of food that is not blended with odors and made of the grease of last night’s left over’s. food that is made in a glorious kitchen filled with jet black cupboards and snowy white counter tops ,a 2 meter long table where we would have our family dinners and daily breakfasts and a refrigerator so high my mother could bake everyday and it would never get full.

I dream of a house. A milky cuisine, caramel window cells with rose-stained door. Trees that shade us from the starching beautiful sunlight and protect us from any evil who looks upon us .and if possible, my brother to share with me the fantasy we have talked of so long, and if not , a grave stone where I can lay a flower for him every morning he’s not there. I dream of a paradise that will withdraw me from the veins of hell. I dream of a house ,I call home.

Ok, I’m studying GCSE Biology and I’m really confused about chromosomes. My teacher keeps drawing these diagrams on the board with a dot in the centre and arms coming out of that, which she says contain the DNA and genes. However, she sometimes draws a dot with one arm coming out of the top and one arm coming out of the bottom. And then other times she draws a dot with four arms, two coming out of the top and two coming out of the bottom.

I’m just really confused as to which one of these is one whole chromosome. Because when I look on the internet at pictures of them, they have 4 arms, and there is always a squiggly line along the side saying ‘chromosome’. So I was wondering if one chromosome has 2 arms, but a pair of chromosomes has 4. If so, when they divide, do they have 8 arms?

Also, there are those pictures of the chromosome table and there are lots of pairs of chromosomes, only I’m not sure if those are individual ones, or a whole one. Anyhow, those tables show 23 pairs/chromosomes and the last one is the x and the y.

I’m just really confused. I know its not all that scientific to talk about dots and arms, but its what we study in lessons so I kind of need to know. Thanks for reading all of this

Both of them are chomosomes.The thing is we have divided chromomes into four categories according to position of dot(called as centromere).Your teacherhas drawn different category of chromosmeHowever all are chromosomes only.Read it and you will understand better:

1.first category is of chromosomes having 2 arms and one dot known as Telocentric chromosomes
2.second category is of chromosomes having 4 arms and one dot.2 arms above dot and 2 below at equal distances.Such chromosomes are called Metacentric chromosomes
3.third category is of chromosomes having 4 arms and one dot but centre lying close to upper two arms .Such chromosomes are called SubMetacentric chromosomes
4.fourth category is of chromosomes having 4 arms and one dot.dot lies very very close to one end of chromosomes.Such chromosomes are called Acrocentric chromosomes

At last (sigh)talking in scientific terms chromosomes are classified into four categories

1) Metacentric : In this type of chromosome the centromere occurs in the centre and all the four chromatids are of equal length.

2) Submetacentric : In this type of chromosome the centromere is a little away from the centre and therefore chromatids of one side are slightly longer than the other side.

3) Acrocentric : In this type of chromosome the centromere is located closer to one end of chromatid therefore the chromatids on opposite side are very long. A small round structure, attached by a very thin thread is observed on the side of shorter chromatid. The small round structure that is a part of the chromatid is termed as satellite. The thin strands at the satellite region are termed as Nucleolar Organiser Region.

4) Telocentric : In this type of chromosome the centromere is placed at one end of the chromatid and hence only one arm. Such telocentric chromosomes are not seen in human cells.

Basically what your teacher was drawing was chromosome only but of other type i.e. acrocentric chromosome.And you thought it as some other thing.

Reqarding your question of chromosome table, there are 46 chromosomes in it,If you see successive 2 chromosomes are exactly same as one other so are placed in pairs and are called as homologus chromosomes(in total 23 pairs).You don’t need to bother about that table,it is just to tell students how many chromosomes are there in our body.

Please read: I am sorry I didn’t read your question correctly first time,a full chromosome is one with four arms and one centre.The chromosome your teacher draws sometimes with one arm above and below the dot is actually not a chromosome it is called a chromatid It is actually the chromosome split into two equal halves forming two chromatids during mitosis and meiosis.There is no chromosome with 8 arms lol.A chromosome only has 4 arms and a split or half chromosome called as chromatid has 2 arms.

look up set precision and either setw or setwidth …. been a bit since Ive done that but it will get you heading in the right direction.
